We honor veterans, we hire heroes

Bergstrom Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, has recently rolled out a new hiring campaign: We Honor Veterans, We Hire Heroes.
While Bergstrom has a long standing history of hiring veterans, their new hiring campaign is now focusing on hiring these American heroes. Every year more and more qualified veterans find a place in this manufacturing company located in Rockford, IL.
"Veterans have many of the attributes that we are looking for in potential employees. Leadership, teamwork, accountability, integrity are just some of the concepts that have been ingrained into them during their military service,” said Jack Shaffer, president/CEO. "We want to empower our Veterans, Wounded Warriors and their family members of this cultural diverse community; preparing them for a seamless integration from military to civilian life by providing the necessary foundation for success.”
Bergstrom has found that hiring these soldiers helps to create a network of strategic alliances in corporate, educational and military resource based partnerships. It’s just one more way that Bergstrom gives back to their community.
