Bergstrom Inc. names Joe Kirby General Manager of Aftermarket Sales

As a result of continued growth, Bergstrom Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, has promoted Joe Kirby to General Manager of Aftermarket Sales at Bergstrom Inc.

Kirby will be responsible for North American marketing, regional sales management, Aftermarket strategic pricing, customer services and further developing global aftermarket opportunities for Bergstrom, Inc.

"Joe Kirby brings a lot of business and marketing experience, expertise and leadership skills to Bergstrom,” said Bill Gordon, vice president aftermarket and NITE sales. "In the past he has worked extensively with OEM’s as well as heating and cooling products across North America, so this is a well-deserved promotion that we believe Joe will excel in.”

Joe Kirby joined the Bergstrom team in 2010 as the Director of Aftermarket Sales, and has more than 30 years of industry experience. He has previously held positions at Webasto Product N.A., Meritor, Mack Trucks, Inc. and Caterpillar.

Along with his work experience, Joe is a member of the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) and Motor and Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA ), is the former Vice Chairman of the Heavy Duty Marketing and Sales Council and former member of the Heavy Duty Business Forum (HDMA/MEMA). Joe is a graduate of Miller Heiman Large Account Sales Management and Karrass Negotiation.

Kirby received his Bachelor of Science from University of Illinois, and earned his Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
