Bergstrom Inc. names Bill Gordon Global Vice President of Truck Sales

As a result of enhanced global collaboration and coordination within the trucking industry, Bergstrom Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, has promoted Bill Gordon to Global Vice President Truck at Bergstrom Inc.

Gordon will be responsible for all Truck related activities including OEM, OES, Aftermarket strategic pricing, as well as further developing global aftermarket opportunities for Bergstrom, Inc.

"Our Truck customers are rapidly becoming global with operations in all the countries that Bergstrom has plants, joint ventures, or partners,” said Jack Shaffer, President and CEO of Bergstrom. "Bill is a talented salesman who recognizes the huge opportunities in the marketplace and will help continue to grow this company.”

A 30-year veteran of the industry, Gordon was appointed VP Aftermarket and NITE Sales in 2011. Gordon previously led International Sales for Bergstrom’s NITE system, directing overall marketing and branding efforts for the company, as well as overseeing continuous improvements in customer service. He was previously with Sears Manufacturing in Davenport, Iowa, where he was Director of Sales.

Along with his work experience, Bill is a member of the Maintenance Council/American Trucking Association, Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) and Antique Outboard Motor Club (AOMC). He is also former Chairman of the Heavy Duty Marketing and Sales Forum.

Gordon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Northern Iowa.
