Bergstrom Stateline Quiz Bowl Renewed for Three More Seasons

Bergstrom Inc. has announced its renewal with WTVO channel 17 / WQRF Fox 39 along with Northern Illinois University to host the 'Bergstrom Stateline Quiz Bowl' through the 2017-18 school year, expanding to 32 teams.
In an effort to create awareness of the importance of education in northern Illinois while challenging the community's best and brightest, the popular television show was seen as a great accomplishment.
"The show exceeded my every expectation." says Kelly Lattimer, VP and General Manager of WQRF-TV. But as Lattimer notes, the show would not be a reality without the continued support from Bergstrom Inc. and Northern Illinois University as well as the sponsors devoted to improving educational opportunities for students in the stateline area.

Season Two begins October 24, and will air for 31 straight weeks, including 6:30 p.m. Saturdays on WTVO-17, 9:30 p.m. Sundays on WQRF-39 and 8:30am Sundays on MyNetworkTV-17.2.
At this time we would like to congratulate Rockford Auburn High School as champions and all students who participated in this year's inaugural 'Bergstrom Stateline Quiz Bowl'. It was because of them that made this program such a highlighted success. We look forward to the years ahead.
