Bergstrom introduces new bus team to amplify focus in the bus industry

Bergstrom Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of cab climate systems for commercial trucks, off-highway machines, military vehicles, specialty vehicles and niche automotive markets, hired three new sales managers – Drew Goaley, Matt Chaplin and Kevin Searer.

Each will work as part of Bergstrom’s new aftermarket bus AC systems team and will be based remotely to provide service to customers in different regions. The new team will help drive focus on the bus industry including pre-existing and potential customers. Bergstrom has been providing HVAC systems to commercial and specialty vehicles for more than 40 years.

Drew Goaley will work as the national sales manager for aftermarket bus AC systems. He previously worked in regional sales at Valeo Thermal Systems. He has more than 10 years of experience in the school and transit bus market, and he will also handle the Northwest and West.  

Matt Chaplin will work as a regional sales manager. He previously worked at ProAir and has more than 15 years of experience in the school bus industry. He will focus on the South and Midwest.

Kevin Searer joins the Bergstrom sales team as a regional sales manager for climate control systems. He has more than 11 years of experience in mobile air conditioning sales with past work as an account manager at Valeo Thermal Systems and MORyde International. Searer will handle the East Coast.

Bergstrom created the aftermarket bus AC systems team to continue excellent service for bus customers and pursue new avenues and opportunities in the bus market. Together they’ll focus on building relationships, providing proactive solutions, assessing customer needs, soliciting new business and servicing new and existing customers.
