has positioned engineering, sourcing, testing and manufacturing
capabilities around the globe offering tremendous economies and service
to our customers. Global capabilities are a powerful tool in the drive to improve our value proposition.
Rockford - USBergstrom’s world headquarters is located in Rockford, Illinois. The sprawling 32-acre site has been the hub of all Bergstrom operations since 1971.
Joliet - USThe Bergstrom facility in Joliet opened in 1998 and is a contract assembly plant dedicated to assembling cabs for Caterpillar.
EuropeBergstrom’s European operations are based in Ystrad Mynach, Wales. The Bergstrom Europe facility, which was opened in 1995, serves the construction, agriculture and niche automotive markets.
ChinaBergstrom’s Asia-Pacific home opened in 1998 and is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China. Bergstrom China is located approximately 90 miles northwest of Shanghai in the New Development Zone of Changzhou City.
SpainBergstrom Spain operations are based in Madrid, Spain. The facility was an acquisition designed to bring about a global reach to Bergstrom’s no-idle market share.
MexicoBergstrom Mexico operations are based in Monterrey. The Mexican plant will produce various types of motors and heat exchangers for vehicles and commercial application. In the future, more core component manufacturing and complete unit assembly capabilities will be developed.
